Shopping steps
Sterling Research also counts the steps of a visit on our own server: a product page viewed, an item added to the cart, the checkout opened and its steps, and an order placed. To link the steps of one visit, your browser keeps a random code for as long as the tab stays open; it is not a cookie, and it is gone when you close the tab. These counts never include your name, email address, IP address or order number, and they stay on our server.
Partner links
When you arrive through a link from one of our partners, Sterling Research keeps that partner's code in a cookie on your browser for 7 days, so the partner's discount is applied when you check out. The cookie holds only the code, it is set by our own website, and it is removed when you take the code off your cart.
You may adjust cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may impact certain site features.

- Telegram: delivers internal order and stock notifications to our team
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held outside Canada is subject to the laws of the country where it is held.
