Research Use Only Designation
All products sold by Sterling Research are supplied exclusively for Research Use Only. They are not for human or animal consumption, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. They are not approved by Health Canada, the FDA, or any regulatory authority for human or animal use, and they must not be used as food, drugs, cosmetics, or for any household application.
Product Labels
Every product Sterling Research ships carries the label statement: “FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY. NOT FOR HUMAN OR ANIMAL CONSUMPTION.”
Who May Purchase
Customers must be at least 21 years of age. By purchasing, you confirm that products will be handled only by qualified individuals trained in laboratory safety and proper handling procedures, and used only for lawful research purposes.
Prohibited Uses
Products must not be used for:
- Human or animal consumption or administration
- Diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical purposes
- Compounding or pharmacy use
- Cosmetic, wellness, or consumer applications
- Performance enhancement or personal experimentation

Your Responsibilities

Sterling Research is a research materials supplier and is not a compounding pharmacy, chemical compounding facility, or outsourcing facility as defined under Sections 503A or 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
